Olivia Stephenson

Olivia is an evaluation and research professional, with a background in Health Promotion. She combines a deep understanding of the role of prevention and support in empowering people to flourish, with skills in designing and evaluating programs. Her prior experiences have been in the fields of gender equity, men and masculinities, family violence prevention, community action and mobilisation, LGBTQIA+ and disability inclusion, climate and sustainability.

Olivia is motivated by and passionate about amplifying the voices of young people who have experienced adversity and historically been excluded from decision making. She joined Brave in 2025 after learning about Brave’s approach and commitment to elevating lived experience in program design and implementation.

Olivia was born and raised in Melbourne, lived part of her life in Yorkshire (northern England), and has now settled in Melbourne with her partner and young, adventurous kitty cat.
