Alison Tyrrell

Alison is a social worker with a background in working with families in different contexts. This has ranged from – supporting parents of teens; families going through separation; child development and early intervention; helping refugees and migrants settle; and community development.

Alison is passionate about supporting families in the early, challenging years of parenting. She has a strong belief that empowering and increasing confidence in new parents is the key to good outcomes for the whole family.

Alison has two teenage sons herself and recognises the huge potential of teens once given the right support and connection to the community. She feels privileged to be able to walk alongside new parents in their journey and help them achieve their goals.
