Samantha Young

Samantha’s career started in children’s services where she held a fulfilling role in early years learning for 10 years. After facing discrimination as a young mother, Samantha found a new longing for wanting to empower young women and their children and felt more determined than ever to pave a way of empowerment by first empowering herself. This led to Samantha studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in children and family studies. After graduation, Samantha started working in community outreach and developing her knowledge around community support services and the significance of a village approach to holistic wellbeing, as well as the importance of cultural identity. Samantha advocates for reconciliation through peace, love and unity, and her aspirations is to empower families to live in a harmonious community where they can reach their full potential.
